FAQs

CMG supports Sales & Trading workflows centered on deal monitoring, IOI management and compliance.

For sell-side Sales & Trading desks, CMG XC streamlines the tracking of investor interest with automated compliance checks and participation reporting by investor, issuer and deal. It helps desks stay ahead of buy-side inquiries with current launch data and market precedents, reducing manual information gathering across the deal lifecycle.

In summary, CMG reduces the offline processes that slow desks down to bring structured, timely deal data into the workflows where investment decisions are made.

Yes. CMG XC enables buy-side firms with a verified underwriter relationship, and Sales Traders on behalf of their clients, to submit IOIs directly through the platform and receive allocations electronically via STP integration with their OMS and via the web app. Buy-side participants can also access their allocations within the platform once they are released by the underwriters. This alleviates manual transcription and creates a record of participation activity across offerings. The platform alerts buy-side users to any outstanding compliance requirements before submission, so teams are not caught off-guard during a live deal.

CMG surfaces compliance requirements directly within the order workflow so buy-side teams can resolve them without leaving the platform. Supported certificate types include FINRA Rules 5130 and 5131, Rule 144A QIB and Regulation S. The platform restricts IOI submission if a required certificate is not on file or has expired, and new certificates can be procured via a DocuSign e-signature workflow initiated directly from the platform.
