FAQS

  • CMG DataLab™, a real-time ECM market data and analytics platform covering current and historic IPOs, follow-ons, ABBs, blocks, rights offerings, converts, ATMs, PIPEs and registered directs across 50+ regions
  • CMG XC™, the connected workflow application for book building, allocations and straight-through processing (STP)

CMG is used by buy-side and sell-side ECM professionals.

  • Sell-side ECM and syndicate teams use XC to manage live offerings, book building, allocations and trade release. They leverage DataLab for precedent analysis, league tables, underwriter analytics, demand analytics and wallet share analysis.
  • Buy-side firms including hedge funds and long-only mutual funds utilize DataLab and My DataLab for ECM participation data, broker relationship analysis and deal analytics. Buy-side teams also interact with XC to submit IOIs and view allocations on active offerings.
CMG covers 50+ regions globally spanning North America, Latin America, EMEA and APAC. The platform includes 20+ years of historical ECM data, 400+ data fields, 100+ filters and real-time coverage of new issuance activity across all major deal types.

CMG data is accessible through the CMG web platform, the Real-Time Feed (GraphQL API), an Excel Add-In (available via Microsoft AppSource) and the DataLab mobile app (iOS).
